The tail would be all over the place from lift off to approximately 500'. Even with extra special attention being paid to the rudder pedals, I could not get even close to comfortable with control of the airplane. After doing some research and talking to other turbine pilots I added Mike Custard's strake. To say it was an improvement would be a serious understatement. The airplane behaves very well in all phases of flight. I strongly recommend it.
