I was very impressed and bought two for the IV. They are compact, bright, light, run cool, use very little power and last almost for ever. Nate Calvin owns the company. He was one of the founders of Sierra Flight Systems (now Chelton) and struck me as a very smart guy. He also offers an LED nav light/ LED strobe combo for the wingtips and a LED tail light /LED strobe for the rudder. Both of these fit the standard Whelen mounting patterns. I bought the tail light combo also. Bill Harrelson N5ZQ 320 1,550 hrs N6ZQ IV under construction > Are there any decent 21st century alternatives to landing light kits > offered from Lancair?
