I've never experienced a zap yet, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. This procedure was recomended to me by Mike Schrader (sp?) a long time ago when I was faced with the same decision on whether to ground or not. Due to the low probability of an explosion due to static charge, I decided not to pursue the matter and did not ground the fuel caps/filler area. However, I do practice the above mentioned procedure. Rick PS Hope things are going well with your IV.... N360ZR is going for paint middle part of next month. Maybe I'll drop by for a visit again soon after the paint is completed... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
