In my opinion, anodizing instrument panels is not the best way to finish a panel. The anodizing fades fast and scratches easily. Also the silkscreening doesn't adhere as well as it does to paint. A far superior method for finishing is powder coat with 2 part silkscreen ink. It's reasonably inexpensive and holds up well to sun, heat and cold.
