The anodizing fades fast and scratches easily. Also the silkscreenin= g doesn't adhere as well as it does to paint. A far superior method for fin= ishing is powder coat with 2 part silkscreen ink. It's reasonably inexpensi= ve and holds up well to sun, heat and cold.
