Good aero formulae in von Mises' Theory of Flight, pps
8-35 and 364-366. I derived the density altitude change of 63' / F or 113.4' / C
from these formulae. I used the deLaval engineering handbook for
temperature rise in compressed gases, such as from a supercharger, on p 6-65 and
p 10-12 for stagnation temperature rise, from which you will get Ts, F,
= V^2 / 5521, V mph; V^2 / 4167, V knots; and V^2 / 11876, V ft/sec; also
Vs = 49.04(Rankine)^0.5, ft/sec.
