Your odds are a lot better if you have thought things through in advance and have a plan in place before you ever get in the airplane. Leaving it to whatever your gut tells you in the middle of a crisis is not a good plan of action. Hamid,

You must be a politician.  I never said do only what your gut tells you and never get any training.  I believe the paragraph before the one you quoted I said...

"I only hope I would make the appropriate decision based on my situation and ALL THAT I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT."

I never one said "leave it to whatever your gut tells you in the middle of the crisis."

Shheeeessh,  can a guy just give an opinion without being stomped on?   I know of several people who will not contribute ideas just for that reason alone.   I'm a big boy, I can take it, but at least include all I said, not portions, and you'll find out, you said exactly what I said.

Safe and happy flying!!!

Matt

Your odds are a lot better if you have thought things through in advance
and have a plan in place before you ever get in the airplane. Leaving it
to whatever your gut tells you in the middle of a crisis is not a good
plan of action.

Hamid
