Bob, I found a 3 way valve to replace the original. I ran the return line into the dipstick hole with a custom brass fitting wtih a tube going down into the tank so you can not get air in the system when the fluid goes the other way. I purchased a plastic resevoir from Oildyne with it's own filler cap. Flown 2 times and all appears to be working. I was going to wait until it get's warm to post my findings to the group... I used very tight stainless braid lines instead of the original rubber hoses and hardware. Yours may allow some flex where mine does not or much less anyway. It appears that only some experience this. I would leave it alone if you have not had the system pressure symptoms that other have described. Randy.

Randy, Did you install a separate valve, or did you find a 3-way valve? How did you tie the return line into the tank? For reasons that I cannot understand, I have never seen this problem in 10 years of flight. Bob Belshe Moraga, CA Lancair 235/320
