Gee, are we really that bad?  

I have seen a lot of hyper-fanatical suggestions on this list, and also a lot
of damn good quick-and-easy tips.  I guess we each need to decide how anal we
will get.  I'm not building a Grand Champion, but my workmanship will be
solid and the airplane will be safe.  I don't feel ashamed to ignore the
"over-the-top" suggestions and I hope no one else is ashamed to take the low
road on occasion.  But I like to hear how perfection could be achieved, since
occasionally I do strive to attain it.

But we sure have gotten a reputation, though, eh?
