Thanks, Marv. It seems to me that the best thing for Don now would be for
him to see a shop and project of a person well into the building process. He
just got his partially (80%) built kit this weekend and has not even begun to
set up a building shop, has not worked with glasscloth etc.

Don owns a Mooney so he could travel a ways to see a project in works.
Anybody out there that can help him get started?

George

Congratulations on getting your partially built kit, I think you said it is
serial #320, about 1989 time frame.

I have copied the LML web site so first thing, establish a E communications
with them. There are many folks on line that can give you up to date
building
help. Get that going then we can get together some time for you to take a
look at my 320.

Marv, Don Yeager has bought a partially built kit and needs all the help he
can get to get started. He is in the Nashville area. Are there any builders
there, and if so, can we hook Don up with them/him/her.

[I've set Don up with a subscription so he'll see this email as his first as
a member of the group. Asking here is a simple way to find nearby builders
and fliers, and don't forget about the Builders' List... the search engine now
allows you to search by model or state or any of a number of other parameters,
so it's the best way to get started on that sort of quest. Welcome to the
Lancair community, Don. Please stop by the LML web site
(www.lancaironline.net/maillist.html), check out the Users Guide and poke
around a bit. There's more there than meets the eye. <Marv> ]
