Thank you all for your advices and specially Brent Regan whose advice definetely solved my problem. No help at all from the VM1000 company now overtaken by JP Instruments showing no interest at all to help old customers. What should we do without the LML forum?  I have a Lancair IV with a 14 volt system and my problem was that VM1000 went dark when voltage dropped below 13 volt which happens all the time when you activate the hydraulic pump. VM1000  should work down to 9 volt. From the beginning my VM1000 worked fine but 20 hours from first flight the problem started.

The reason for this reset was a resistor  R26 in the DPU (Digital Processing Unit) that had changed from 10 ohm to 35 ohm. This is a serial resistor feeding a 5 volt regulator. The input voltage to the regulator became too low and the regulator could not deliver the right voltage to the connected IC (Integrated Circuit).
When changing the resistor to the right value the VM1000 function down to 9 volt. The faulty resistor was not burned but had for some reason change its value.

Thank you all!
