Kai,

I wold look carefully at that setup as in my LIV, the radio shop did something very similar. The servo would just go past center (over center) and lock the elevator. You must allow a little extra for wear and over travel. Fortunately I discovered it on a ground check where I let the pitch control go to full travel, then the elevator would not move. This is an unusual flight configuration but one should protect the control system from any possible lockups.

Here are some shots of my pitch servo mounting and connection. Obviously
this is not a finished job but I hope this gives an idea of the basic idea.
Sorry about the focus but when holding the camera with outstretched arms
pointing it back and under you its hard to tell what it's focusing on.
Rob, I hope this helps. Kai Ogston
