Rob, I know what you mean. You'll enjoy reading the RVator article about building a "new" RV-3.

....Maybe a Kitfox, maybe a helicopter, maybe something else.  (Maybe a Falco?  If I'm retired, do I really care how long it takes?)  The selection fluctuates weekly, except when I'm at Oshkosh where it fluctuates hourly.
