Michael,
Your static system has a leak in the cockpit. Whenever I let my static line pick up from inside the cockpit, my indicated airspeed increases about 20 kts at cruse. In the pattern the indicated airspeed is still pretty close to what it should be.

My true airspeed as computed from my airspeed indicator is about 14 knots faster that the measured result.
