 How are you using the over center link springs on the mains? Also do the
mains come down after a little time? Mine creeped when they were new.
 The gear system loosens up with use. It would not surprise me that yours is
just a little tight. If the mains come down with little force you could easily
put a few G's on the airplane to drop them down. Mine were a little tight and
were slow to lock when the airplane was new. Now they extend smartly and lock
with the dump valve...
