In addition to the inputs from others regarding the mounting of the header tank on a LNC2, some thought regarding firewall mounted items should be considered.
 
Draw a horizontal line on the rear side of the firewall even with the bottom of the header tank.  Everything mounted to the firewall above that line will have stud mounting access issues if the tank is not removable.
 
As with other builders, all of the items firewall forward mounted above that line on my plane are attached with mounting studs permanently bonded into the firewall for ease of attaching nuts from the forward side.  Should there be a problem with these mounting studs later, or if changes, deletions or additions of items to the forward side of the firewall be necessary, having a removable header tank would save a lot of grief.
