Draw a horizontal line on the rear side of the firewall even with the = bottom of the header tank. Everything mounted to the firewall above = that line will have stud mounting access issues if the tank is not = removable. As with other builders, all of the items firewall forward mounted above = that line on my plane are attached with mounting studs permanently = bonded into the firewall for ease of attaching nuts from the forward = side. Should there be a problem with these mounting studs later, or if = changes, deletions or additions of items to the forward side of the = firewall be necessary, having a removable header tank would save a lot = of grief.
