I've cussed myself many times over the years for not seeing the value of that mod at the time - when it would have been doable - not easy, but doable. Getting at some of the things in the footwells and forward of the panel is difficult at best and a nightmare at the worst. Before installing the panel and all the stuff behind it, it's not all that obvious how inaccessible some things will become. Don't let that empty space lull you into making what certainly is a big mistake. Do whatever you need to do to make your header removeable - you'll never regret the time spent!!!
