Even after removing the D-sub shell, it seems I will still need to make a hole in my firewall that is about 1.25" in Diameter. Can some other builders suggest and or send me some photos of the methods they used to neatly finish and cover that pass through? I did pick up a few firewall shields from Spruce, but was thinking that perhaps there are other ways that result in a more "robust and finished" appearance.
