Attached are 3 photos in more detail.
Leg light = 100w EMC halogen
Landing = 100w GE 4509 in the cowl per Lancair specs

Taxiing in with only the leg light on (I think) several winters ago: SK-Small EMC Taxi.jpg

Just the leg light on in the hangar. That is a 4' ruler about 10-12 feet
in
front of the leg light and the longeron is sitting back at about a 3.5
degree angle: SK-small EMC in hangar.jpg

The leg light and the light in the cowl. the aircraft is angled up 3
degrees and there are a couple of more degrees from the ramp to the hangar.
The
four foot ruler can barely be seen against the door. It can be seen why
the
cowl light is great on the approach to landing and the leg light is better
for
landing and taxi: SK-small Taxi plus EMC.jpg
