Dan,
I put in 2 pressure gauges from Lancair under my passenger seat. This was the easiest location to do the install and now, with the passenger seat removed I can analyze my hydraulic system problems. The total cost of this incentive was about $60.

Recently I have noticed that the hydraulic pump seems to cycle more than usual when the flaps are going into the down position. Going down it cycles once every second for about 6 seconds. Going up it cycles one time.

Any advice and help would be appreciated.
