Scott, I don't know where this
video was taken or anything else about it other than it is pretty
trick. I would guess the engine was a single cylinder with one plug
per cylinder. I would also guess there was quartz lenses embedded
into the combustion chamber for capturing the video. I wish we could watch
it frame by frame and see the flame kernel develop as that is pretty trick
as well. I was surprised to see the visible flame as well. From
what I have seen in the past, the combustion was so intense, flickers of
apparent flame were not visible.

The more interesting question is whether the video camera was placed into
the second spark plug hole? If so, the ignition event wouldn't be a true
picture although the "swirl" might be the same. Still an interesting
video.
