I've helped out with various bits and = pieces, mostly electrical, of several Legacys and none of them used the = support bar. I'm assuming you're referring to the = round aluminum=20 tube that bolts between the two canopy hinges.  I've helped = out with=20 various bits and pieces, mostly electrical, of several Legacys and = none of=20 them used the support bar.  It just gets in the way of too much = valuable=20 space behind the panel.
