Check out tru trak's 2 1/4 ADI with electric heading indicator. Great unit, battery back up, comes with or without it's own GPS. The best part is the Price.

Subject: [LML] Electric Gyro Compass
Is this item a thing of the past in our experimental aircraft? I've got a
couple of Chelton screens, a GNS 430, a Tru Trak 250 autopilot and will have
a wet compass, but my panel is not set up for a mechanical gyro directional
indicator.
I'm wondering what happens when all the glass goes TU. Am I stuck with
wandering after the wet compass to wend my way out of IMC?
Does anyone have a line on a 2 1/4" electric gyro?
I think if I have an electric AH, and backup VSI, ASI, ALT etc, I'd be
lacking if I had to use all these and didn't have a reliable direction
indicator to go along with. Any comments?
