I just completed retrofitting my 235 with hydraulics for
the inner gear doors.  As you would expect, I bought the kit
from Lancair but there was one part back-ordered.  A 6"
length of 7/16" x .035" wall tubing.

I didn't find any reference in the plans for it either but
I suspect it was for up stop.  The strange part is, 7/16"
would be too big to go inside the spring of the cylinder.  I
had some 1/2" 4130 tube and that works perfectly.  I can't
imaging what the 7/16" tubing was for.
