Mike -
We are having trouble with our velcro now that the summer heat is here and
we have had to pull some of the interior out a few times. We have had very
good results with some stuff Bob Nuckolls has tested for fastening items to
various surfaces. It is E-6000 and can be bought at Michaels or some other
hobby stores. We have used it on roughed up nylon, aluminum and several
other substrates to fasten things to the interior of the fuselage. It has
never failed. One use was to hold a stud and mounting plate to the fuselage
at several places, to which we then clamped the four heavy welding cables.
We will uses it now on the velcro when it starts to peel. The only problem
is that it takes about 24 hours to really cure, but it holds after about an
hour.
Just another suggestion.
