Thomas, I had the same problem and since I don't have a metal lathe, I
had the local machine shop turn some new stops for me out of aluminum
rod stock. I had them made way too long and then shortened them as
needed on a belt sander. Only cost a few bucks and each one can be
"customized" to make perfect stops at both ends of travel.
