I spoke with a number of shops and was told living in So. Cal. I didn't need it. This solenoid is suppose to make the engine start in really cold weather. Next subject. I hope I'm the only one that has done this. I just finished my Annual and in the process found several of the leads wires on my ignition harness had rubbed in several place on = the fuel injection lines and worn though=20 the outer cloth cover exposing the shield. In 3 places=20 where the lead had rubbed against the partition I had made=20 between the intercooler and the #2 4 1 3 cylinders the abrasion was bad = enough to cause arcing from the lead to the partition. Thought I would bring it up for something=20 to look for. Protect those leads where they touch anything.
