Unfortunately, I am not an electronics person. But I'm sure that it would be
fairly simple to identify the range of outputs from the position sensor and
create a simple circuit to create on/off outputs to the AOA. Presumably the
circuit could be adjusted to generate that binary output at the proper flap
positions.

Are there any solder jockeys out there ready to take this one on?
