Here's a couple of suggestions: The studs don't actually have to be screwed all the way into the case, so you might want to check out how many threads of engagement there are in the case itself, if you haven't already. A good way to remove these is to use a couple of nuts --- thread one on and then jam the next down onto it (but keep the flats lined up) so that you can use a wrench to turn the stud out of the case without tearing it up. If they are long enough to allow at least three or four full thread engagement in the case with enough length above the case to allow the governor to be attached, you're in luck. If they are too short, I recommend you call Jeri Blevins at the San Jose Aviall office (located at Montague Expwy and Old Oakland Road) in San Jose (800-284-2551) and she'll most likely have 'em for you tomorrow.
