Ron,
Was the seat damage on the vernatherm or the cooler or both...and which
cooler did you get as a replacement?

I had those high oil temps. When I took out the vernatherm and inspected
the
seat it looked like it had been cut with a dull tool. I ended up getting
a
replacment cooler and vernatherm. Now the temps run at 190 in climb and
180
in cruise. In the fall I have to close the oil cooler door to get it up
to
180.
