For the last two years at Oshkosh I was = going to toss down the 8K for AFS's dual 10" system. I have been = impressed with their EFIS screens, etc. BUT... for the last two years = they have promised functions they've never delivered on. Not so much = with the engine monitors but with the flight monitors. Two years ago: = GPS, Terrain, HIS, Airspace, on , on , on...... Well, all that is still = promiseware. While other EFIS makers are going beyond that AFS still = makes promises... To bad, it's a nice system but I'm sure they will = never catch up.=20 I've never had a problem with EI but this panel change will be a dual = EFIS system.
