Also have an LNC2 small tail w/ IO360 and experience exactly the same on taxi and take-off.  Alignment is probably OK.

Flap as Scotty describes is the standard method.  No flap take-off works OK, just tends to plow a bit (nose high, tail low) before getting "up on the step".   Sort of the same feeling you get when getting rid of the flaps after gear up and climbing out.

Recommend climb out at 140K to promote cooling and also give some airspeed margin in case there's an issue.  Airspeed bleeds off very fast if the engine falters - really gets the blood pumping when your about 300'agl  ;-)

With any amount of left crosswind, I also have to tap the right brake once or twice to keep my tracking straight. It's not unmanageable at all, but it does require attention.
 
I wonder if you have some aligment issues with your main wheels. How is tracking during taxi? I might have the same issue during taxi, as I have to poke the right brake every so often. However, I don't have major issues on takeoff and landing as you seem to have.
 
I use flap for takeoff; I motor them down to be even with a fully deflected aileron. I have not tried a takeoff with no flaps.
 
I'm surprised that the prevoius owner is of no help to you. This is one of the best communities out here, so I'm surprised. Keep asking questions and we'll all try and help ya.
