Cleaning the filter and line seemed to
have done the trick. But most of all I'm pretty disappointed with VisionMicro
and JPI. After wasting three days calling VM and not getting anything but
an answering machine I called JPI, the new owners. It's not hard to get them on
the phone but none the less they have no idea about the company they
purchased... JPI called VM while I was on the phone with them... Funny, JPI
didn't have any problem getting a person on the phone (So he said). The guy at
JPI gave the guy at VM my number, told me VM would call me back in
minutes..................... Two days later, big surprise, no call..
As far as I'm concerned, I will not be
shopping for a new VM product or a JPI product to replace my monitor. Support is
the biggest part of the product, especially in the experimental world.
Anyway, thanks for the LML help.
Obviously we provide better support then some of the
manufactures.

Problem
I'm not sure there is a Visions Micro
anymore, at least not as we knew it. No one's there when you call and at OSH
they had no idea how the VM's worked. I think JPI pretty much gutted them out.
Oh well. I'm going to toss it soon and go full EFIS.

Filter in front of
firewall needs to be changed. Part available from Vision.
