Assuming that the gear apparatus has not been damaged (bent) by hard landings and are otherwise of normal configuration and adjustment (i.e., brakes not dragging, wheels freely turning, etc.) then the most likely cause is that one or both of the rear gear legs is canted to the right causing the rear of the A/C to move to the right as it pivots around the nose gear causing the A/C to drift or dive left. You are correcting the leftward movement by applying right brake. Sometimes this leaning of the gear is not easily seen or measured. Look for it.
