Craig,

We just sent a Lycoming exhaust back to Vetterman for the same problem.  He can close up the gap back to original specs.  I don't know if he works on Continental exhaust but it's worth a try:  Larry Vetterman in South Dakota at (605) 745-5932.

A few months ago we purchased new Cont exhaust parts for a TSIO from http://www.aeroinstock.com/.  Much more reasonalbe than I expected.

Subject: [LML] Exhaust leak

I have an exhaust leak on my TSIO 550 between the #6 and #4 exhaust manifold slip joint.  See attached photos.

I would like to correct this.  Other than fabricating a wedged gasket at the cylinder to redirect the exhaust manifold, does anyone have a better idea?

Thank you,

Craig Gainza
