Doug,
There is a special tool that is part of the T-100 Magneto
Assembly Took Kit that is needed to hold the shaft while the nut is
unscrewed. My suggestion is that he find a friendly mechanic to replace
the nut. Inside each new magneto box is a T-118 Timing Pin for use during
installation.
At
least that is what I remember, although it ha been a few
years!
