I have had prop heat on my IV for about a year and a half and it has
functioned very well.  It is primarily a 210 system with boots recommended
by Hartzel.  The mount for the brushes had to be modified.  All the data
and an STC was developed by Helena Aircraft (Jerry Gresens) in Helena,
Montana 406-443-8360.

Re my question on ice buildup, I have had about 3/8 of an inch of mixed.
Anvils were starting to develop but I noticed no detrimental flight
characteristics.

Another interesting thing is my IV flies with the elevator slightly below
the hor. stab., about 1/4 inch.
