Actually Tom, fuel starvation ONLY covers those instances where there is fuel on board. If there's no fuel left it's fuel EXHAUSTION.

By the way, "fuel starvation" is not necessarily the same thing as running out of fuel. Fuel starvation also covers those instances where there is fuel on board but for some reason it's not getting to the engine.
