So
very sad, unstable and inevitable. The box/jack loose combination
is just asking to fold over with the slightest slip or nudge in the
direction of the pilot's foot well. The load path is precarious because
there is so little righting moment to resist lateral loading, combined with
the foldable "knee joint" at the box-to-jack interface. Please use
a taller airplane jack stand assembly next time. Monday morning
quarterbacking is easy, I know, but this should have been
obvious. I'm glade that you were not under it when it tipped
over.
