Have had it happen before, and wondered if it might be a highly sensitive mike licking up something from the surrounding area be it wind noise or whatever. Volume down doesn't reduce it and switching off the IC doesn't affect it. Any suggestion as to what it might be please? Hmm – Had a very loud and irritating = feedback type squeal develop in my Lightspeed 3G ANR headset = today.

Have had it happen before, and wondered if it = might be a highly sensitive mike licking up something from the surrounding area = be it wind noise or whatever.

Volume down doesn’t reduce it and = switching off the IC doesn’t affect it.
