The 2480-300 is the exact same size as the 2480-301.  Is that what you are asking?  The stand alone GPS antennas are the same size for  430/530 or 430W/530W.  The only difference is if you upgrade the GPS stand alone antenna from 430/530 to the W model is the connector(W uses TNC, non W uses BNC) and you need to have high quality cable.   It's my understanding that a Garmin authorized service center has to do the upgrade, or at the very least verify that the antenna installation meets the Garmin requirements.

Ron,   is the 2480-300 a lot bigger than the old garmin antenna?   I'm wondering if I'm going to have trouble fitting the new ones on my antenna deck.
