I recently completed
a paint job on a Velocity and had the avionics shop shorten the coax cable to
the WSI antenna which included adding a new coax terminal. Recently,
my WSI weather downloading seems pretty spotting and I'm getting
frequent high "bit error rate" (BER) warning on the status page of the
MX20 page for the WSI signal. I wanted to check with anyone else
running WSI weather to see if their downloads have been generally good or if the
problem is on my end and not with WSI (with a potential degradation of service
as they phase out the old satellite)?
