I would ignore that comment other than to point out we sometimes get to "concerned".  Aircraft do have less need for filtration than autos as they spend more of their time in "clean air".  However, I would NEVER consider not changing the oil and neither would George.  He changed to a "straight" weight oil from multi viscosity for better engine protection.

Does that include current vintage turbo chargers and valve trains?
