Do NOT use any kind of solvent on plexiglass.  Solvents and plexiglass don't
equal a "clean" window.  You'll get the best results using a polish.  The
finer the grit of the polish, the "cleaner" the window will appear.  Try the
stuff Marv suggests below.  In the military we used a polish with a grit fine
enough to make it seem like there was no grit to it at all.  It would polish
out all the imperfections and if used with enough elbow grease would remove
fine scratches.
