I seem to recall reading an article that said NACA scoops aren't really
designed to convert a fast moving air stream into high static pressure.
They're designed to bring in a high volume of air while creating minimal
drag but produce very little ram air pressure.  Is this not correct?

Egads, another experiment is looming.  When possible, I will move my pressure pickup to the oil cooler plenum to see if my giant NACA produces more than just big air.
