Thanks for your reply. I spoke with Jim Frantz again today. He didn't
mention using the position sensor for this purpose. I sure would like to as
I have it installed, too. I talked to him about using it but he had no
answers there. I don't know if he is unfamiliar or what. The conversation
just seemed like it wouldn't work. I think the AOA needs a switch with a
definite NO or NC.
Do you have an idea on how to wire it? The position sensor, that is? Jim
also says to use anything off the "up" flap setting as a signal to change
the AOA parameters. As others have noted the AOA may be unstable in other
configurations. Jim says the output will be conservative but very
acceptable using anything off the flaps up setting instead of flaps 30
input.
