Subject: Use of DH lines on a 360

I am not attempting to revive a dead horse here but hopefully gain knowledge from others use of the DH lines.
 I have 2 questions in regard to application of DH lines for use on a L360;
             1. Can the DH lines be run down to the brake calipers? The DH spec sheet state no degradation of strength up to 212 degrees but I'm not sure what the temps are at the caliper under hard braking. Would the heat generated at the disc radiate to the caliper quickly enough to reduce the stopping ability? Or would it be prudent to run another hydraulic line from the caliper up the gear leg a ways before transitioning to the DH lines?
             2. Other than cost would these be suitable for a replacement of the assembled hydraulic hoses supplied in the kit and even for a 1/4 inch aluminum line where a little flexibilty in routing placement would be advantageous?
 Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.
