Folks,

I made this reply earlier to Terrance and did not list it here.  Maybe some others might benefit also.

Terrance:

I had the long mount when I started my conversion(Dynafocals about 10 1/2"
from firewall. I am supplying a picture to show the engine mount
modification that I used to provide space for my Jirstroj governor mounted
upon the Lycoming drive adapter to the Accessory case.

I had the 320 Wide Deck case modified by DIVCO during the teardown
inspection and reassembly by Poplar Grove Airmotive.  MT provided the new
MTV-12 and Jirstroj thru negotiations with Jim Ayres and his Less Drag
company in Camarillo CA.

There have been no operating problems with this set up over the last year of
operation and appears to be a perfect match to this engine and airframe.
I checked the dynamic balance in the first 5 hours of operation after
returning the 235/320 to service.  No tweaking or adjustment was required.

I have other pics and can send them.  I just did not know if it is
appropriate to load then here just yet.

Chris,
Thanks for the link.  It has a photo, but no dimensions.
Also, I need to know whether I need a Lycoming or/and governor adapter with
shaft to be added to the rear accessory pad for CS prop governor.  No
adapter on it now.  Measuring straight aft from the basic pad cover the
distance to my landing gear/engine tubing (not the firewall) is about 4
inches at the bottom, 5" in the middle and 6" at the top of the pad. So I
need to find a Lyc 320 with CS prop, and get the facts.  Sent 3 e-mails to
Whirlwind for info on the Jihostroj governor, and no reply, so will call
them.
Thanks for the help.
