Use pin 7.  Pin 7 on the Freeflight goes to pin 1/J1 on the Chelton

According to Chelton's wiring diagrams RS232 output from the Freeflight
1101
is on pin 8.  Looking at the Freeflight documentation it shows two RS232

outputs; TX1 on pin 8 and TX2 on pin 7.  Freeflight's diagram of a
typical
installation shows connecting to TX2 on pin 7.  I called Freeflight and
their tech support said to use pin 7 (TX2).  They said TX1, pin 8, is a
maintenance port and does not output data in normal operation.

For those of you with working Chelton/Freeflight installations, which
Freeflight connector pin are you using for RS232 output?
